Tuina is the most well-known Chinese massage technique and is part of traditional Chinese medicine. The name literally means pushes (Tui) and grips (na). Just like acupuncture Tui aims itself at influencing and in awareness of life energy (Qi), which runs through the meridians (energy banen). The treatment is very dynamic and includes a broad scale of techniques. Both complaints to the movement apparatus (for example back-, neck or joint complaints) and more internal complaints (such as digestion complaints, head pains, etc.) can be treated.
